We currently provide meal service on Sunday mornings and Friday night dinners.  We like to have a kitchen crew of at least 4 people.  The 4 roles would be Cook, Cook assistant, Server, and Dishwasher.  Each crew volunteers 3-4 hours per meal service.  You can volunteer as much or as little as you like - but we need to maintain consistency so this particular role will need to be scheduled in advance.

Once in a while we need a handyman to replace a ceiling tile, replace burnt out light bulbs, plant grooming, or perform minor repairs.  Might include painting or being on a ladder.  This is an 'as needed' type of role without a set schedule.

Thursdays & Fridays 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Sundays 9:00 am-1:00 pm

1st, 3rd, & 5th Tuesdays 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm

1st Wednesdays 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.  Due to state laws, there may be additional certificates required.

We have several types of events each year, some recurring, others only once in a while.  Some events are member events, such as a celebration or special dinner; and other events might be charity events, such as distributing dictionaries to schools, distributing food, toys or clothing to needy individuals or distributing much needed items to our veterans.  

The common denominator in all of our events is they all need to be planned and coordinated.  

Sometimes a decorated room simply makes a regular event feel special.  Many hands make a light load.

Regular office assistance, would include answering phones and filing.  Experience with email and Microsoft office products a plus.
